There is a possibility that the actual dates of these breaks may change from one year to the next, but in general, they will adhere to a pattern that is consistent from one year to the next.

TAMU a&m move-in day fall 2023

TAMU a&m Your move-in day for the autumn semester 2023 will be planned on a first-come, first-serve basis and will take place between August 17 and August 23 of that year, depending on where you’re staying on campus.

In accordance with the TAMU academic calendar, you will use the myHousing Portal to make a reservation for a Check-In Appointment. Make sure that you have finished the Annual Housing Orientation, which may also be accessible via the myHousing Portal, before arranging your Check-In Appointment. This is important whether you are a first-year student or a continuing student.

You will get the key to your residence hall or apartment during the check-in appointment that has been scheduled for you. This appointment will take place in person. At the time of check-in, you are going to require a picture identification and either your TAMU ID or another photo ID.

After you have completed the check-in process, you have the option of relocating your possessions into your room or apartment immediately, or at a later time that is more convenient for you.

You are not required to transfer all of your items in within the time allotted for your visit. In the beginning of August, you will be provided with detailed information on the location of your check-in. Always make sure you keep an eye on the TAMU academic schedule to see if there have been any updates.

It is expected that you will get your TAMU ID at the time of your hall or apartment check-in appointment if you have not yet gotten it and your picture has been approved. In the event that your photograph was not accepted, you will be given a temporary access card that will allow you to enter the hallway or apartment complex in which you reside.
